Deise Dragons Multi Sport Club for children and young people with a physical disability.

On Friday 13th January, the Deise Dragons Multi Sport Club held their Open Evening. The open evening was held in Carrickphierish Sports Hub from 6.30-8.30pm. The hall was a hive of activity, as over 50 children participated in a variety of games including GAA, Soccer, Basketball, Volleyball and some fun mini games.
While children were participating in activities, parents had an opportunity to mingle and chat to other parents over tea and coffee. The evening was a huge success with children and parents enjoying all it had to offer on the night. A big thank you must go to the IWA Sport, FAI, GAA and Waterford Muay Thai that supported the open night

The Deise Dragons club is now up and running every Friday evening from 6.30-8.30pm in Carrickphierish Sports Hub and are always looking for new members with a physical disability to join. Membership to the club is €20pp, followed by €3 per child or €5 per family. The club encourages siblings and friends to come and join the club also.

If you would like more information on the club please contact Pauline Cunningham (Waterford Sports Partnership) on 076 110 2682 or email pcunningham@waterfordsportspartnership.ie
