Over 50's Walk for Life - Next up Tramore

Walk Waterford - Next Walk Tramore Doneraile - Sun 2nd Oct

We held the second walk in our Walk Waterford Autumn Series yesterday in Colligan Wood,  near Dungarvan. The mild and pleasant weather added to the enjoyment of this lovely wooded walk for all participants.

Strength and Conditioning Workshop

The WSP Club Development Seminar Series began on Monday 19th September with Gary Walsh delivering a seminar on Strength and Conditioning for sports coaches. Thirty five people from twenty two clubs representing nine sports attended the seminar held in Waterford Warriors Gym.

Walk Waterford is back for the Autumn

Walk Waterford is back, with five walks which will give you a chance to get out and get active whilst enjoying the beautiful Waterford countryside. Walk Waterford is organised by Waterford Sports Partnership and led by staff and trained walking leader volunteers.

Over 50's - Walk for Life 5km Challenge

We are hosting 5 walks for people over 50. The aim of the series is to give people the opportunity to create links with others in their locality and experience some of our wonderful Waterford walks.

Special Olympics Training

On Monday 12th September WSP ran a mini active leadership training with twenty new volunteers from the Dungarvan Special Olympics Club.

NOW BOOKING - Balance Bike Training

WSP and Waterford City and County Council are supporting a new programme for preschools with funding provided from European Mobility Week. This coming term we will be piloting the new Balance Bike programme with a limited number of preschools in Waterford.

NOW Booking - Buntús Start Refresher Training

Buntús Start is a National physical activity programme which Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP), Waterford City and County Childcare Committees and the HSE have rolled out across Waterford over the last 10 years. This year we are delighted to offer childcare providers Buntús Start Refresher Training to give early year’s settings new ideas on physical activity.
