Sport & Recreation Fund Open for Applications!

Waterford City & County Council has just announced the new Supporting Waterford Communities Fund and Waterford Sports Partnership is delighted to contribute to the Sport & Recreation Strand of this fund in partnership with the Council.

WSP will contribute its annual Irish Sports Council funding for sports club grants to this strand. In addition to increasing the fund available to sports clubs, this partnership aims to improve co-ordination and avoid any duplication in the allocation of resources. This will replace any previous funding schemes operated by WSP for sports clubs.

The Supporting Waterford Communities Fund provides grant aid assistance to:
• Residents Associations,
• Community Groups,
• Sports Clubs and
• Other groups/Committees engaged in community activity, providing community services or carrying out improvement works at local or county level.

How to apply
All applicants must complete a Supporting Waterford Communities Fund 2015 application form
(see above). Once completed please submit your application by email to waterfordcommunitiesfund@waterfordcouncil.ie  or in hard copy to:
