Waterford Sports Partnership and Go Dungarvan Smarter Travel recently delivered a cycle intervention for fifty three students at Colaiste Chathail Naofa including training for twenty six Post Leaving Certificate (PLC) students who are now qualified ‘Sprocket Rocket’ cycle tutors.

On 25th September cycle skills training was delivered to twenty seven first year students in Colaiste Chathail Naofa. Cycling tutor Simon O’Hara said ‘Sprocket Rocket is a fun and enjoyable way for children to learn the basic skills of cycling in a  safe environment and is enjoyable to coach. Jason Ryan, PLC course coordinator said, 'the coaches were excellent in their delivery of all aspects of the course, we look forward to our pupils putting into practice the safe cycling skills they have learned.'
