WSP Staff take part in the Sports Council Challenge

Throughout the month of May, Waterford Sports Partnership took part in the Sports Council Challenge. The challenge is an Irish Sports Council initiative that aims to encourage workplaces to increase their physical activity over four weeks and work towards becoming a healthier workforce.

WSP Strategy - Please tell us your views!

Waterford Sports Partnership (WSP) is currently planning a new strategy for the period 2013 to 2016. In order to inform this new strategy effectively, we need to understand what worked well and  what could have worked better during the last strategic period from 2007-2012.

Disability Awareness & Sports Inclusion Training

Waterford Sports Partnership in conjunction with the Irish Wheelchair Association is running a Disability Awareness & Sports Inclusion Training course aimed at programme leaders, sports clubs, and NGB's who wish to run inclusive sports camps and activities with a view to including people with a disability.

Waterford Sports Partnership is hosting a Workshop on the National Garda Vetting Bureau Act 2012 Implications for Sports Clubs and Organisations. Are you working in a voluntary capacity with young people or vulnerable persons in sport and physical activity?

Mount Sion Make History

On Tuesday 7th May 2013 at 4.30pm. Remember the date! This was the day that Mount Sion Secondary School fielded a U-15 Rugby team for the first ever time in the school's 211 year history.
